01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas and melted butter until fully combined.
03 - Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
04 - In a separate bowl, blend flour, baking soda, and salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined — do not overmix.
06 - Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for sprinkling on top.
07 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Scatter reserved chocolate chips over the top.
08 - Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
09 - Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.
